Brief Answer:
Yes it is good
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
17 month old baby getting running nose and cough is usually viral.
Viral infection may last for even 4 to 5 days before settling on own.
Cetrizine is antihistamine and ambrodil is expectorant.
Both can be given safely to control the symptoms and help in bringing out the secretions.
Don't worry, continue them.
If not improving in another 48 hours or if child becomes sick and dull, you need to consult your doctor to look for evidence of throat or ear infection or lung congestion.
If your baby is active and playing, you can continue the same medicines and she will settle soon.
Wishing her speedy recovery
