Brief Answer:
Kindly take either Sinarest or Alerid and not BOTH

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam,

Thank you for writing in to us at HCM.
I am Dr.Riyanka Chail glad to be answering your query.

Don't worry it could be a viral infection due to change in weather.

Kindly visit a physician for the following medications:

1. Since you have taken both Sinarest and Alrid I would like to comment that:

Either take only Alerid (Cetrizine 10 mg) once daily at night for three days and Paracetamol 500mg 3 times a day along with that .

or

Continue with sinarest as it contains paracetamol (for fever),Phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine (Antihistamine).Take it three times a day for three days. Be cautious as this medication may make you feel very drowsy.

DONOT take both (Alerid + paracetamol) and (sinarest) as they all do the same work.

2. Tablet amoxycillin 500mg 3 times a day for 5 days to prevent secondary bacterial infection.

Do Salt water gargle and steam inhalation.
Drinks lots of water and warm fluids.

Hope this answers your query.
Do write back for more doubts.
Take Care.

Regards,
Dr.Riyanka
