Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Throat Due To Strep

HI, I m taking Amox/k Clav 875 for a strap throat and I can t take a second one for another 6 hours. I m in a lot of pain, can I take some standard cold relief with acetaminophen, dextrometorphan, phenylwphrine, and chlorpheniramine maleate, the night version, to help me sleep?

Hello,

It may be due to throat infection.

For further assessment you may require complete hemogram, throat swab after ENT consultation.

For infection, you may require antibiotics after consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Continue saline or betadine gargles twice a day.

Take hygienic food and water.
