Brief Answer:
Chronic pharyngitis with cough

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic and thanks for putting up the query
Mam' your husband seem to have pharyngitis. The cough might also be due to that only. Please tell me does he have dry cough or with expectoration.
For throat swelling he needs to be given antibiotics. So please visit a doctor for proper examination.
Give him steam inhalation. Do hexidine gargles 2 to 3 times a day.
Continue with cough syrup and also give him a combination of levocetrizine and ohenylepherine once daily. All the medicines I prescribed are available only on prescription.

Wishing a speedy recovery

Thanks and regards
