What Is The Treatment Of Chronic Pharyngitis Causing Hoarseness Of Voice?
I have chronic pharyngitis...sometimes its painfull accompanied by hoarseness of voice but rest of the time I can very clearly see abnormal growth on pharyngeal wall...plus every morning I feel ill taste in my mouth... My Dr said I have DNS... And my nasal discharge is always dripping in my mouth...
As you said in your clinical history that you are having DNS , which is giving post nasal drip in this way your throat is always getting infection thus ultimately it land up on chronic pharyngitis.
In chronic pharyngitis time to time laryngitis appears and give rise to hoarseness of voice.
But above is one possibility and one should rule out other causes of hoarseness of voice like vocal nodule, vocal polyp, Granulation on vocal cords and even growth on cord.
To treat it you should get corrected your deviated septum, because once it is corrected post nasal drip will finish up and ultimately continuously source of infection to throat will disappear. In this way your pharynx will be cured.
Regards.
