Suggest Treatment For Cold, Mild Fever And Difficulty In Sleeping

Brief Answer:
Cold
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
What you describe is very common in this age group. Tylenol or motrin will work well for the fever. A cool mist humidifier in his bedroom may be helpful for the cough and congestion. Children's Vicks rubbed on the chest can also sometime be helpful. If the fever persists beyond 2 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor.

my son is also having discharges from his eyes especially after he naps.can we give him any medicine to help alleviate the mucus problem to help him breathe better?
Brief Answer:
Follow up
Detailed Answer:
The eyes should be kept clean. You can do this with a cotton ball dampened with plain water. Mesictions given by mouth as a decongestant are generally not recommended for children this age. A cool mist humidifier, and children's Vicks rubbed on the chest, will open up his airways and make it easier for him to breath.
