There are few degenerative changes in the form of osteophytes seen.
There is no evidence of osteo-lytic or asteo-sclerotic lesion involving bodies,pedicles,transverse
processes and spinous processes
The intervertebral disc spaces are compromised.
There is no evidence of paraspinal soft tissue shadowing.

After going through your suffering, how she suffered the compression fracture
following fall? Please share in the follow up query.
At her age severe weakness of bone (osteoporosis) is very common for which calcium tablet alone may not work. In this bones become so weak that they may break without trauma. The osteoporosis may be confirmed by Bone mineral density (BMD) by dexa scan.
For Osteoporosis there are few options like-1. Calcitonin nasal spray (Rock bone C nasal spray).
2. Once a year injection of zoledronic acid, once a month tablet of alendronate, once a week tablet of osteophos.
3. Injection Teriparatide
You may discuss with your treating doctor and decide what is best for you. Once the pain is reduced you may start exercises to strengthen the back that is back strengthening exercises.
Take balanced diet rich in calcium (1000mg/day) and vitamin D (1000 i.u. /day) along with vitaminB12, B6.
