Suggest Treatment For Constant Loose Stools, Nausea And Stomach Cramps

infection or food intolerance
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM,
The most common causes of loose stools that go on for months are infection or food intolerance.
The infection can be viral, bacterial or parasitic. There are also some inflammatory bowel diseases that can cause this problem. The first things I would try would be eliminating all dairy and starting a probiotic daily. The next thing to try to eliminate would be gluten but that is a much harder task than eliminating dairy
It would be a good idea for you to see your doctor for stool testing to make sure there is no infection or parasite infestation causing this problem.
If these things do not give you relief or an answer you may need to be refferred for a colonoscopy to rule out an inflammatory bowel disease. It is recommended that all of us over 50 get a screening colonoscopy anyway as a screen to rule out colon cancer. If you have not had that done yet, now may be a good time to do it.
The symptoms you have are not the symptoms you would get with colon cancer however.
