Suggest Treatment For Constant Pain In Lower Abdomen

default
Posted on Mon, 20 Jul 2015
Question: For the past two weeks. I've had a dull, almost constant pain in my lower abdomen. I think it's an ovarian cyst, I've had them before, but not in a long time. I really have no other symptoms at all. Should I see a doctor soon, or wait until this cycle is over? Should I be concerned it's something more serious than just a simple cyst? Thanks for the help.

Hi!

Welcome to health care magic!

I am Dr. Saddiq Ul Abidin. I have read your problem in detail and will try to help you in best way possible.

It is sad to know about the problem you are facing lately. Yes the pain can ve ovarian in nature, and for that you surely can wait till end of cycle.

But meanwhile taking antispasmodic may help like drotavarine. If pain is adding to interuption of daily life routine, you can use acetaminophen or diclofenac along with it.

You might be asked once you show up to a gynaecologist for an pelvic ultrasound and that surely will help in diagnosing the issue.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. kindly rate me before closing, and leave your feedback if possible.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ul abidin.
