Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

As you might be knowing bipolar disorder is mixture of depression and hypomania/mania. If she has consistent pattern of suffering with depression, fear, obsession and suicidal ideas I do not think it is bipolar disorder.

In case in addition to current suffering she suffered with hypomiania or mania (increased activity, feeling grandiose, demanding behavior, expensive behavior, racing of thought, increased talkativeness and lot others) for a period of one week or more that it will be called as bipolar disorder.

Although the current treatment is according guidelines but I will request you to discuss option of either seroquel or Latuda. These two options have good efficacy in bipolar depression as well as some efficacy in unipolar depression.

In case he want to continue same medication ask him to increase wellbutrin to effective dose as 150 mg is never sufficient for most kind of depression.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
