Suggest Treatment For Contractions After Taking Enema
Follow these advice
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.
Doctor advice you to make an enema because he /she think that you were near to vaginal delivery while you were 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced . But this isn't the first scenario where the contractions stop.
Hence in my opinion wait and see if you will have regular contraction or not while you are 40 weeks and 2 days.
Time of waiting will not pass no more than 13 days or until you will be 42 weeks.
In our practice patients who haven't uterine contractions we recommend :
1. to be active and hydrated, take a walk every day
2. to have frequent intercourse because during it women's body release prostaglandines and they help patient to have effective uterine contractions
For further questions I will be glad to discuss with you.
Have a good motherhood and best wishes
