Suggest Treatment For Cramps On Stomach
Question: Hello, my name is XXXX and I am a 48 year old woman, wow how time flies..... My question is my mid sized dog jumped on our bed and landed on the left side of my abdomen very hard. It felt like a running cramp in my side so I continued to lay down to see if it would subside. About 30 minutes later I got up to urinate and I got very duzzy and really, really hot/nausous. I laid down again and felt better after about 5 minutes. It has been about 3 hours and I am feeling better i.e. I can get up without feeling ill. What the heck was that? Brused Kidney??? Now I just feel sore....

COuld be Vasovagal
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in
With the information provided it seems you had a vasovagal shock at the first instance but any intraabdominal blunt injury can not be rule out
Keep a watch on pain, distention of abdomen, vomiting, blood in urine and/or stool
On a safer side get an ultrasound of the abdomen done
If the Pulse and blood pressure are normal you may not rush to the ER but better not neglect if there are any of the above signs or symptoms
Hope this helps
