Suggest Treatment For Cramps Related To Premenstrual Syndrome
Question: Hi, I have been having sharp pains below my hip flexors on and off for a couple years now. It is either one or both hips and the pain appears at random. It is most common when I am menstruating or when I have my irritable bowel symptoms. (Ex. Constipation, abdomen cramps) I have gone to doctors about it and they tell me it is my muscles tightening from menstrual and IBS cramps at the same time. It seems to be more frequent as of late. Any ideas as to what it could be? It feels like it may be my lymph nodes.
Brief Answer:
Cramps related to premenstrual syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
I understand your query and concern.
These pain episodes in and around your hip joint are strongly associated with the menstrual flow pattern.
These changes are collectively called Premenstrual Syndrome.
IBS is a frequent association with PMS.
All you need is drugs like analgesics and serotonin reuptake inhibitors like fluoxetine and ibuprofen.
These drugs when taken for short period of time can completely cure your problem.
Additionally i strongly suggest to take up aerobics.
Post your further queries,if any.
Thank you.
