Suggest Treatment For Cut On The Penis Head
Question: HI,
I have cut the head of my penis (1cm cut) on the head by the urea tract. I have been applying topical 6% lidocaine and 4%prilocaine cream every 2-3 hours to the top half of my penis for 2 days to relieve discomfort. however after 2 days my penis stared to swell-2x the size especially area next to the head with ulceration of the top of the penis head. I have been taking neurofen, applying elastic bandage copress and some ice packs. It has been 6 days and the swelling is going down very slowly but the head seems to be infected. Is there anything I can do to help the healing?

Brief Answer:
Get it examined by a surgeon or an urologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, I can understand your concern.
The pictures show a clean superficial cut over the penis, with the foreskin swollen. It needs to be examined by a surgeon or Urologist.
If needed, some stitches maybe placed. Also, if the foreskin needs to be retracted forward to normal position, that'll be done.
An analgesic and an ointment will be needed for relief of pain and swelling.
Wish you well.Dressing is also kept.
