Suggest Treatment For Cyst Below Clitoris And Above Vaginal Opening
Question: I have a cyst below my clitoris and above my vagina opening. I thought it could be a bartholin cyst but the more I read up the more I think my cyst is in the wrong location to be a bartholin cyst. It is not on the side where that gland is. It is directly in the middle above my vaginal opening. Wondering if I should upload a picture. It is hard like a marble under my skin but not painful.

Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
I have gone through your history and in my opinion it can be due to saebaceous cyst, folliculitis or due to ingrown hair.
But before giving my opinion about it I want to ask a few questions from you.
Have you done an unprotected sex?
Have you recently shaved that area?
Are you having any other symptoms or vaginal discharge?
Can you please upload the image?
Please revert back to me with my answer.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck.
Regards

I uploaded two pictures and the update reports area. Not sure if it shows up or not because I've had a couple of problems with the application. Anyhow, no unprotected sex. I have shaved but not sure if I have shaved in that particular area. It is non painful and just feels like a ball of something underneath the skin. I'm not having any other discharge or anything like that.
Brief Answer:
Most likely a saebaceous gland cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
Thanks for the images, I have gone through it and in my opinion it is most likely a saebaceous gland cyst.( though they are not very clear)
Treatment for it is hot compression and it will resolve in few weeks.
As you are not having pain and other symptoms means it is not infected, so no need of pain killer.
If it becomes infected than needs incision and drainage.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.

I'm including a better picture where I've opened up the labia so you can get a better look. I'm worried it could be a skenes cyst according to my research. Let me know your thoughts. Its protruding out of my vaginal opening under my clitoris. Thank u. You said the pics werent good enough so I included a flash.
Brief Answer:
It can be periurethral cyst or cystocele.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I appreciate your knowledge and efforts.
I have gone through your images and in my opinion it can be a cystocele( bladder prolapse) or it can be a periurethral cyst( XXXXXXX gland duct cyst).
But before giving my opinion I want to ask a few questions.
Are you having any urinary symptoms like difficulty or burning in urination?
Any incontinence?
Are you having symptoms of infection?
Are you having vaginal discharge, itching and foul smell?
Are you having a history of difficult vaginal delivery ( sorry if I am asking wrong question) .
Please revert back to me with my answer.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck.

It is a hard nodule or something that feels like a marble. I have not had any incontinence. My last vaginal delivery was 12 years ago. There were no issues and it was all natural with no drugs or anything. There is no sign of infection. Also I haven't had any discharge
Brief Answer:
Consult a Gynecologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I have gone through your images and symptoms and in my opinion there can be only two possibilities one is cystocele and another is periurethral gland cyst.( though very rare cyst).
As you are not having symptoms it is very difficult to comment on it, so I would suggest you to get yourself examined by a Gynecologist and rule out the above mentioned causes.
As you are not having any symptoms, conservative treatment is possible in your case.
Hope found useful, feel free to discuss further.
Good luck.
