Suggest Treatment For Cystic Acne
Question: At 60 years old I still have cystic acne. Help, what can I use to treat? Tried so many things, including retin A YYYY@YYYY yes, as you can see I do pick, if I didn't, they would be around for months!

You seem to have inflammatory papular acne. I would suggest you to take an antiacne oral antibiotic e.g doxycycline 100mg, twice daily for 6-12 weeks. It is a prescription drug. Oral antibiotics are more effective for inflammatory acne. In addition you may use topical benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel twice daily for inflammatory acne. You may find this otc.
