Hello dear.
1. Where exactly is the dark pigmentation - face or whole body ? The pigmentation acquired during pregnancy can sometimes persist for a very long time.
You should be definitely seeing a dermatologist who can prescribe some skin lightening creams and treatments.
2. Allopathic is much better than Ayurveda.
3. To lose weight, you should eat less calories and burn more. You can start exercises ( working out in a gym ) on treadmill and cycle to lose thigh fat. A trainer will teach abdominal exercises too , to reduce the tummy. Eat less of carbohydrates, rice, potatoes, junk food, fried food, ghee, oil etc. Eat lots of curd, buttermilk, fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables etc. Consult a dietician for a proper calorie restricted diet chart.
4. Abdominal C section wound heals in 10 days, and internal stitches heal within 6 weeks, so you are definitely healed now. Some nerves are injured during C section so you may sometimes feel pain and discomfort around stitch line, but that is normal.
Take care.

Hi Doctor,
1.dark skin or pigmentation is on whole body and more on face, hands and legs. Can I take any medicine though I breastfeed?
2. My tummy is flat around navel. But it looks like air balloon below the chest line.. Is it normal for everyone as the tummy shape changes?
3. I am still taking iron and calcium supplements. These supplements are the reason for weight gain? Bcos I look plumpy from the day started taking them.
4. Hairfall is more and I almost become a bald. What is the cause?
5. When I visit a dermatologist, how should I explain about my dark skin?
6. Total appearance is changed just after the baby.

Please clarify.
Thanks in Advance.

Can you upload photographs of the pigmentation ? I might have an idea.
Once the dermatologist prescribes medicine, let me know what it is, so I can tell you if it is safe while breastfeeding.
Yes, changes in the tummy shape and fat is normal after delivery. Regular exercise and toning will help you to acquire proper shape.
No the supplements are not the reason for the weight gain. But you can stop now, since it is already 6 months post delivery.
Hairfall after delivery is also common.
Take good nutritious food , multivitamin and consult a dermatologist to look for scalp infections causing hair loss.
Just tell the dermatologist your problems, she will also be a qualified doctor, and will understand the issues.
Take care.
