Brief Answer:
amenorrhea secondary
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your question on HCM
I do understand your concern
As per your history you have delayed period so nothing to be apprehensive if you have doubt about pregnancy then reiterate pregnancy test after 12 days of missing period and in few days time the test might be negative. You had mentioned about some medications but it has no cognation with your periods. So delay in period has many pathological causes and you have no other history so I will verbally express it is normal.
Hope that helps

GM Doc, I have never had delayed periods and also I had sex after 5 months and there is no chance of the leaking because we checked the condom every time to see if it was broken. I will reiterate the PT as per your suggestion. If you have any other suggestions please let me know.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Brief Answer:
secondary amenorrhoea
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your follow up question on HCM
“As” per your question it is good that you may not be pregnant if result comes back negative. To know the exact cause of amenorrhoea you require to visit a gynecologist who will do a clinical examination, before visiting your doctor you can do few tests like [full blood count, thyroid function tests and an ultrasound]& this will help your doctor.
Hope that helps
