I have depression/anxiety and asthma.
Symptoms most probably because of the anxiety/depression syndrome
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
All these symptoms may be as a result of the anxiety/depression that you have.
Are you getting any treatment for those?
You will need to see a local physician to evaluate your level of anxiety and prescribe you the treatment.
-- Try taking a painkiller, who will help you relieve the headache and so you can feel a bit better: Ibuprofen 400-600mg, every 6 hours, after food as needed.
-- Drink plenty of fluids and eat a healthy diet. So you will feel well not only for the stomach issues but also avoid the problem of weight gain. Lots of fruits, vegetables and foods rich in protein. So you will feel satisfied and full and the need for unhealthy processed foods will gradually decrease.
-- Physical activity helps a lot so you can increase the hormones of happiness in your body, you will feel more energetic and sleep better. What I recommend to my patients is to gradually start doing long walks and then when you are ready running, first 15 minutes and increase gradually. Do this at least 5 times/week.
-- Doing activities that you like, for example reading books or getting out with friends, will be helpful as well.
If the headache is worse or not better, I would recommend going to the ER to be evaluated by a physical exam and maybe imaging tests as needed. Some red flags to watch for are changing in the vision, getting worse and not better, the headache not stopping day and night, painkillers not working, ect.
Hope this is helpful.
