Brief Answer:
need to see doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your question.
I am sorry that you are feeling so bad. I suggest that you see your doctor and have some things checked out. It is possible that the Effexor is causing the sexual side effects and it sounds like it is not working for the depression anyway so perhaps a change to something like Wellbutrin (no sexual side effects) may be more helpful. There are three things that we know help relieve the symptoms of depression, they are medications, exercise and counseling. I know it is hard to exercise when you are not feeling great but getting yourself to walk for 30 minutes a day could really help. Seeing a counselor to help figure out ways to cope with the feelings you are having could also be a good thing. Try yoga for the backaches. Headaches can come from stress but also can be made worse by not drinking enough water or drinking too much caffeine. Try to eat a healthy diet and find at least some little thing to do every day to make you feel better or give you some pleasure.
I hope you are feeling better soon,
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
