Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
See since you have developed diabetic nephropathy, this should be taken on a serious note.
I will help you with what to be done next. But provide me following details before that:
1. What are your blood sugar levels?
2. How are your Kidney function tests. I need to know the serum creatinine level.
3. What is your Blood Pressure ?
4. What is your hemoglobin level?
5. Attach all your reports including the Ultrasound report if done.
Revert with these details.

Dear Friend.
If the kidney Functions are normal I advise following:
1. To take low protein diet.
2. To start on low dose ACE Inhibitors like Ramipril or Angiotensin receptor blocker like Olmesartan. These drugs help in controlling further proteinuria.
3. To get Kidney function test and Urine examination done every 2 months.
4. Strict control of diabetes.
5. To take an iron supplement for low hemoglobin level.
This is my best advice for you.
If you have any further query feel free to ask me.
Stay Healthy.
