Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Moving Retracted Foreskin
I am 25 years old male with no health conditions.
I am uncircumcised. When I masturbated yesterday night, my foreskin went back but did not return to its original form and hence the glans penis is open.
I faced similar problem last week and it took 10 hours for the foreskin to completely return and cover the glans penis.
Is this normal? Or should I visit a doctor?
I can send over an image if required.
If no pain, it is normal. If you cant retract manually, consult dr

Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.
I can understand your concern.
It is absolutely fine that your foreskin did not cover glans after masturbation. It can happen normally.
When penis size reduces after masturbation, try to stretch the foreskin forward manually slowly.Do not wait for coming back on its own.
Even penis is flaccid and you cannot revert back the foreskin above glans or the process is painful , you should consult doctor for check up. As long hours of tight foreskin behind the glans can compromise the blood flow to glans penis. There may be chance of phimosis or paraphimosis and treatment should be done accordingly.
If there is pain during masturbation or there is prolonged erection, there is also need of evaluation.
Yes if you can send photos of both situation, foreskin covering glans and not covering glans , it will give better idea to me.
Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
Thanks. I covered the glans manually but still the tip is not getting fully covered. How much time is a normal time for it to get fully covered on its own?
I have sent an image of the current problem via upload.
Thanks for photo, likely normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for photo.
I can see that foreskin is above glans rim,so no chance of compression and any problem. Just tip of glans is not covered. And yes I think your foreskin is curved inward itself. Just try to revert it outward. You can doing the same by stretching it slight back towards base of penis(say half centimeter) and with help of two fingers you can roll it outward and extend it to cover the whole glans. It is just like when you see a condom in package(in rim form) and you extend it by rolling over and stretch whole condom.
There is no specific normal time that foreskin should cover the full glans on its own. Normally it occurs within 2-5 hours depending upon your physical and working position and how tight the clothes you are wearing.
In conclusion, you should manually set the foreskin to cover the glans after masturbation.Gradually it will happen on its own.
No need to see doctor at present.
Hope this answers your query, I will be glad to answer more if there.
