Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

Diffuse cerebral atrophy in MRI Brain is almost a universal finding in MRI of elderly people.Cerebral atrophy starts developing as the age advances. Many of the individuals in their late 40's may have diffuse cerebral atrophy. It is physiological and not pathological.

So,this MRI is not abnormal as far as diffuse cerebral atrophy is concerned. Is he having any symptoms? Why did he underwent a brain MRI?Please follow up for a better correlation.

Hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.

Hi sir,
Thank you so much for your reply, that's relieving.
My actually got a jerk in brain which also had an impact on his heart (as per his observation) that is the reason our doctor advised to get the scanning done.

kindly refer the attachment for the MRI scanning report
