Suggest Treatment For Discharge Of Orange Liquid From Nose And Cold
blood clot formed
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Since you have chest cold and using vaporizer, this lead to clotting of the blood in the nasal capillaries. The orange liquid looks to be blood mixed with mucus or fibrinogen from the clots. You should watch for hard crusts formed in the nose as too much use of decongestants will cause dryness and crusts in the nose. If so I suggest you to use NASIVION drops, one drop every 4 hours in each nostril to clear the crusts. This will also stop the orange liquid oozing.
Do not blow the nose too hard else it will bleed. Do not put finger in the nostrils to keep checking it. It will clear off on its own. Unless you have a clear bleeding from the nose you should not worry about it. The NASIVION / OTRIVIN drops shall clear.
Drink ample amounts of water as this kind of crust formation is mainly associated with dehydration.
