Suggest Treatment For Dizziness After Taking Oxycodone Acetaminophen
Question: I took oxycodone acetaminophen 10-325 for pain. After about 15 min. I took amitriptyline Hcl 10 mg. After a few seconds I felt dizzy and still at this moment. How serious is this? Do I have to be concern? What action do I take?
Brief Answer:
Interactions are moderate
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Oxycodone and Amitriptyline are bound to interact with each other hence should not be taken at the same time (even 15 min apart).
Please do not continue to take these at a time. THey should be taken at least 4 hours a part.
One episode of dizziness should be taken as a redflag sign and stop taking together.
Drink as much of water to eliminate the medicines out of the body. That should suffice. Check pulse rate, Blood pressure and temperature.
Hope this answers your query.
