Dry cough could be due to infection of your throat. Throat infection is either due to Viral or bacterial Infection and it needs to be differentiated as treatment is different for both .

I advise you to get Throat swab Culture sensitivity test done and revert back .

Till then you can use Syrup Reswas , ask for doctor for the prescription.

Also Do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits.
