Brief Answer: I need further details. Detailed Answer: Dear Friend. Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern. By saying "ED", I suppose you are talking about erectile dysfunction. So, the treatment depends on the cause. 2 most common causes of ED are: 1. Diabetes 2. Psychogenic. So, give me following details: 1. Since when are you facing it? You mentioned last 15 days. Did you ever had it before? 2. Marital status? Any kids? 3. Exactly what problem do you face? 4. Do you have problem in getting erection or in sustaining erection? 5. Any history of any disease like diabetes or atherosclerosis? 6. Do you have any stress? Or recent mental trauma? 7. Do you have any morning erections, which are spontaneous? Many a times we get up from bed and see spontaneous erections. Have you ever noticed? I would advise you to answer me in point wise manner only in order to help you better. Stay Healthy. Dr Anshul Varshney , MD

Brief Answer: Detail Follows Detailed Answer: Dear Friend. I have read your detailed reply. I must say that your ED problem seems to be Psychogenic. Stop thinking about this problem. Also you should start behavioral therapies to fight with stress. Get your blood sugar checked. Sildenafil can be taken as 50 mg 20-30 min before the play as on when required basis only. Stop smoking. It further aggravates erection problems. If your problem persists, you might require Doppler of your Penile vessels and even a drug like Paroxetine (SSRI) And you don't require any other treatment. If you have any further query, please ask me.

Brief Answer: Detail Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear friend. Behavioural Therapies means relaxation and learning how to keep you stress free and calm, as stress very commonly leads to sexual problems. You can go for yoga and meditation for that. Believe me or not, this is going to help you the most. SSRIs are Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors , and Paroxetine belongs to this class. These are basically anti depressants and also helps in Premature Ejaculation and ED. They are used, if behavioural therapies fail. Dose has to be decided based on your body weight and other symptomatology and should be taken under guidance of your doctor. In cases where, there is almost no erection and patient is a smoker, we advise doppler of blood vessels supplying the penile organs, to see for any evidence of reduced blood flow due to atherosclerosis. If you have any further query, please ask me.
