Question: rapid onset since last evening Excessive belching very lightheaded no energy need help standing and walking Slightly elevated bp 154/82
do not take meds for bp O2 level 92 on room air take xarelto 15mg daily for afib 93 yrs old No chest pain, no symptoms of stroke No elevated temp these are my husbands symptoms

I am Dr Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
Xarelto is known to cause in digestion , upset stomach and even light headness is some patients .
So if it was recently started and tge symptoms are after starting Xarelto , its worth attributing it to the same .
Taking the medication after meals and an antacid like omepraxole 40 mg / esomeprazole 40 mg once a day should help .
Importantly even episode of atrial fibrillation may present with all the symptoms you described particularly in older age where it may not cause palpitation classically.
So if the symptoms persists , its best to see a doctor or nearest EMS so they can take an ekg to rule out any heart releated issues . The saturation O2 of 92 particularly if it was more than 95 previously cannot be caused by xarelto alone and needs evaluation
