Suggest Treatment For Excessive Belching
GERD /Dyspepsia, Baseline EKG be done to be safe
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based upon your description of the symptoms , it is most likely GERD ( Gastro esophageal Reflux Disease ). PPIs like esomeprazole can be given for 10 days. PPIs are much more effective than antacids for GERD/Dyspepsia that does not get relieved with lifestyle changes and antacids alone. GERD can also present with chest and epigastric pain or discomfort. Antacids aren't associated with arrhythmias e.g atrial flutter or tachycardia. You can get a baseline EKG done to be sure that there is no cardiac cause for the flutter that you mentioned.

Unlikely to do so

Hello.
Its highly unlikely that the trapped gas has lead to the flutter. It can lead to transient chest pain, though.

Can anxiety cause the heart to flutter
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
No, it doesn't appear to be an M.I/heart attack especially if there is no chest pain, shortness of breath and any hemodynamic related confusion. As stated earlier the flutter should be looked for on an EKG. If there is no evidence and the symptoms subside then most likely it was due to anxiety or a panic attack. If it recurs then a 24 hour holter monitor can be advised in consult with your doctor.
