Brief Answer:
Evaluation of excess sweating

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

Infections like UTI can cause excess sweating. But since you have been having increased sweating for past 2 months, UTI is the unlikely cause for your symptoms.

Excessive sweating could be due Hot flashes associated with menopause. Some women develop symptoms a few years after the onset of Menopause. However, hot flashes and menopause symptoms are less common in people with high Body mass index (BMI) due to estrogen production from peripheral fat tissue. So I would recommend checking estrogen levels, LH/FSH levels.

If you are diabetic, hypoglycemia associated with anti diabetic medications can cause intermittent excess sweating. Cardiac problems can also present as excessive sweating. An EKG is recommended to rule out underlying cardiac problems.

Hyperthyroidism or increased thyroid hormone levels can also cause excess sweating. Thyroid function test also needs to be done as a part of the evaluation.

Please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider for necessary evaluation.
Meanwhile, stay in cool temperatures and hydrated.
