I am truely sorry for your loss
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, I am truely sorry for your loss. losing a beloved person is one of the most painful experiences that anyone can pass through. I understand your feelings of sadness and guilt. You should know that it is ok to grief as long as you want. there is no right or wrong way to grief but from your story I can see that there is no need to feel guilty .. you did all you can to try to safe his life.. you were there for him all the time and you presence must have had the most powerful effect in comforting him while he died.. Even if you did not hold his hands , surely he was aware of your presence and of your feelings of fear to lose him as you were trying to help him and comfort him.. you can not remember the exact events happened in the ER because you were overwhelmed with all the feelings of fear and love..
I am concerned with the chest pain that you feel, and I would recommend that you get a stress ECG and an echocardiogram as stressful conditions can cause vasoconstriction of cardiac blood vessels.
I will pray for your husband and for you.. I hope you find this helpful.
