Brief Answer:
Hello dear. This is the usual case with NHL and acute leukemias
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. This is the typical presentation with non hodgkin lymphoma like SLL/CLL(small/chronic lymphocytic leukemia), hairy cell leukemia, and splenic lymphoma. Sometimes acute lymphocytic leukemia may have this picture.
Folowing tests are required:
Complete blood counts, peripheral smear, Liver Kidney function tests, Tumor lysis panel, B2 microglobulin, LDH, marrow aspiration and biopsy, immunohistochemical markers, A flowcytometry analysis of the marrow or peripheral blood and cytogenetic analysis if we are suspecting acute leukemia.
A PETCT may be required if non hodgkin lymphoma is the malignancy.
Thanks and regards
