Suggest Treatment For Fatty Liver And Ascites
Could be low protein diet
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
It seems to have developed due to low protein levels in the blood. I would suggest that you check total and differential proteins in a blood test.
If that is negative then other possibilities need to be ruled out with more tests. The other tests will include LFT, RFT, thyroid, echo, ECG.
Examination by a doctor is needed to see if it is pitting or non-pitting type of edema. Low proteins will cause pitting type of edema.
Don't hang legs and keep moving around.
In diet - avoid fast food, take higher proteins and low salt.
Walk will help a lot. Reduce weight (if high)
Apply these lifestyle changes for atleast 10 days and check if there is any change.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
