Brief Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM.
It seems to me that you have fecal incontinence. This is a condition where the anal sphincter that holds back stools becomes loose and there is loss of control. If this is proven in your examination, there is a surgery for tightening the external opening.
There are also some medications that may work. You can discuss this with your proctologist.
You can revert back for further clarifications.

i have been told to deal with my constipation before my appointment but the laxitve i have been given makes it worse could it do more damage?
Brief Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I personally do not think you should take a laxative.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I personally do not think you should take a laxative. Laxative is needed before procedures to clear the bowels. You already have loose motions. Laxative will not damage but will make your symptoms worse. If possible discuss this with your doctor before the appointment. Regards
