Question : I will probaly have a kidney stent. Had a coronary stent placed on 5/14 and drs found a kidney blockage,
causing BP to fluctuate. What can I do until the time arrives when a k.s. can be placed without trouble from dye?

Hi,
Until your doctors take you up for stenting process, I would start you on antiplatelet drugs. Besides these medications to lower cholesterol levels need to be added to prevent further blocks. Antihypertensives like a calcium channel blocker can be started if blood pressures are high on most occasions.
I would refer you to a cardiologist and nephrologist for simultaneous management. If you haven't seen these expert discuss with your primary care provider for a referral.
