Suggest Treatment For Foot Pain
Plantar fasciitis most likely, bony spurs can be possible also.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Ma'am
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to plantar fasciitis most likely. Presence of bony spurs is also possible.
Placing foot on ice pack or ice filled bottle on and off for 15 to 20 minutes at a time will be helpful to get relief. You can repeat this a couple of times daily. Plantar and calf muscle stretching exercises will be helpful also. Gels containing methyl salicylate , capsaicin and NSAIDs like diclofenac for local application is also good.
If there is no improvement then a consultation with orthopedician and X ray of foot to rule out bony spurs or malformations should be done also. Physiotherapy will be helpful also. If pain is more then local corticosteroid injections can be taken also.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
