Suggest Treatment For Genital Herpes
Question: A couple days ago I noticed a white head where my left groin lymph node is and it looked to me lie a zit so I popped it. The next day the entire left groin lymph node is swollen to the size of a golf ball with a huge pink circle around it covering my skin about 6 inches in diameter of the swollen lymph node. I have genital herpes. I figured that this was a lymph node infection caused from my disease. Therefore, I took 1 gram of valaclovir yesterday and 1 gram today. The pain is worse than ever and it looks alot worse than it ever has. I'm worried that this doesn't have anything to do with my disease since the valaclovir seems to be not helping it. Should I continue taking a gram a valaclovir every day? Should up the dosage? Or should I seek medical attention immediately? I can barely walk and am in excrusiating pain but could deal with it if I know that this is directly related to my disease and after a couple more days the valaclovir is going to work. But I'm just worried that this is some kind of other infection and I am damaging my body even worse and the valaclovir is ineffective. Please help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

It doesn't seem to be related with your genital herpes.It seems to be a bacterial infection of inguinal lymph nodes.The swelling ,redness and pain are really indicative for a bacterial infection.The inflammation has spread to the tissue around the lymph node.
Valaclovir has no effect on bacterial infections so there is no reason to continue taking it.

Ok thank you very much a really appreciate your response. I have another concern..
I contracted the virus in February. I had the worst outbreak about 3 months ago (alot worse than the first one) and the lesions still are not healed. I did not have access to Valaclovir at the time. I used Fenvir and Terragen HG Treatment. Both did absolutely nothing. I then started dousing my penus with 100% pure Apple Cider vinegar. The lesions and blisters finally stopped spreading. Now I'm left with raw skin that never heals. Everytime I get an erection the new skin that my penus has produced splits open and comes off and new raw skin appears exactly where is was before. This has been going on for two months now. I am abosutely horrified that these lesions are never going to heal and I'm going to be left with less feeling and horrible scars on my penis.
Is there anything that you know of that can treat this raw skin? And help my penus produce skin that does not come off again so easily? I'm a 29 year old male and it's extremely difficult for me to go without an erection for the next month. Everytime I get an erection the skin splits apart. I can submit a picture of my penis if you want me to but I don't want to unless it is necessary.
