Suggest Treatment For Genital Herpes
Consult a physician right away.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
I read carefully your query and understand your concerns.
After seeing the picture of the affected area I suggest to consult a physician right away.
It doesn't seem to be related with your genital herpes. It seems to be a bacterial infection of inguinal lymph nodes. The swelling ,redness and pain are really indicative for a bacterial infection. The inflammation has spread to the tissue around the lymph node.
Valaclovir has no effect on bacterial infections so there is no reason to continue taking it.
You need to take a course of antibiotic to treat this infection.
So you need to consult a physician as soon as possible. The infection is really obvious.
Meanwhile you can take Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen (Tylenol) for the pain and to help with inflammation.
Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have other questions or doubts to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.
Kind Regards,

I contracted the virus in February. I had the worst outbreak about 3 months ago (alot worse than the first one) and the lesions still are not healed. I did not have access to Valaclovir at the time. I used Fenvir and Terragen HG Treatment. Both did absolutely nothing. I then started dousing my penus with 100% pure Apple Cider vinegar. The lesions and blisters finally stopped spreading. Now I'm left with raw skin that never heals. Everytime I get an erection the new skin that my penus has produced splits open and comes off and new raw skin appears exactly where is was before. This has been going on for two months now. I am abosutely horrified that these lesions are never going to heal and I'm going to be left with less feeling and horrible scars on my penis.
Is there anything that you know of that can treat this raw skin? And help my penus produce skin that does not come off again so easily? I'm a 29 year old male and it's extremely difficult for me to go without an erection for the next month. Everytime I get an erection the skin splits apart. I can submit a picture of my penis if you want me to but I don't want to unless it is necessary.
it might need some m ore time to heal.

Hello again!
Sores from genital herpes will heal and disappear on their own, but taking the anti-viral drugs can make the symptoms less severe and make them go away faster.Left untreated herpes lesions may last up to 3 weeks and sometimes more.
The sores caused by genital herpes generally do not leave scars.
You don't need to worry.Lesions from genital herpes may last a couple of months in the worst case but they finally go away without leaving obvious scars.
In your cause the process of healing is taking longer because herpes lesions are formed in a part of penis that can't heal properly due to erections.
There is no specific treatment for this. You just need to give some time and the herpes lesions will heal.
This process would be faster if you avoid sexual intercourse and masturbation until the skin lesions are healed. You can apply some moisturizing cream or vaseline on these lesions to keep the skin moisturized so the raw skin will not split during an erection.
If these lesions won't seem to heal in some more weeks ,I suggest to consult your physician and get examined to understand the cause of all this.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
