Question: Hi dr. I am 35 weeks pregnant and have gestational diabetes. I am taking insulin injections. I wanted to know is it safe to reuse the syringe for taking insulin injection?

It is best to use a fresh syringe and a fresh disposable needle everytime before taking any injection.
Re using the syringe also carries a risk of transmitting infections and diseases, particularly during pregnancy, when your immunity is already less.
