Brief Answer:
it is probably a mucocele or mucous retention cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I have gone through your query and picture and understand your concern.

From your history, it looks like a mucous retention cyst better known as mucocele. It has a short or acute history and might have occurred following mild local trauma during your dental procedure.
It is a totally benign condition so you need not worry. It takes a few days to reduce and disappear. However, rarely it can remain for a long term.
If such a patient comes to me, I advise avoiding rich spicy food and washing mouth with saline water. You are probably taking antibiotics following your dental procedure, so no additional antibiotics should be required. If it remains for a long term, get it checked by a doctor. But such chances are unlikely.

Hope this was useful.
