Minoxidil is a good drug for male pattern baldness but you are having severe grade of baldness.
You should take oral medicines along with minoxidil like tablet finasteride 1 mg once daily.
For best results minoxidil and finasteride should be taken together for atleast 1 year.
You can also consider going for platelet rich plasma therapy (prp). Multiple sitting will be required at monthly intervals.
