Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss

I am suffering from hair loss
I have used minoxidal on my scalp for around 3 to 4 months
I did not use on all scalp, i choosed some area to try
I am 100% sure that the area where i used the minoxidal lost hair very dramatically, whereas the rest of my scalp still has good hair.
My question is whether there is any way to reverse what minoxidal did on this area or I have to transplant it given I stopped the minoxidal a long time ago

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
I can understand your concern regarding the hair fall. It seems you are having androgenetic alopecia( AGA), a progressive form of hair loss dictated by genetic factors and your hormone testosterone.
Minoxidil is proven therapy for AGA but in its intial phase it tends to increase hair fall because the hair in telogen phase (resting phase) rapidly turn initially into catagen ( hair cessation) and then eventually goes into anagen ( growth phase).
For better understanding I would insist you to post good clinical pictures to me so that I can check the grade of your alopecia and and thus help you in a better way.

Oral dutasteride, Minoxidil solution
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the pictures.
You are typically having androgenetic alopecia and I can see its pretty advanced.
Androgenetic alopecia(AGA) as you must be aware is a genetically driven progressive pattern of hair loss dictated by your hormone, testosterone.
Minoxidil is a wonderful molecule that works very well for AGA.
It happens that when you start minoxidil you experience excessive hairfall but that is just temporary and eventually majority of your hair would be in growth phase i.e Anaphase.
There I would insist you to restart application of Minoxidil. Apply 10 % solution over affected areas of scalp twice a day.
Also additionally you should take biotin-rich tablets once daily for atleast 6 months.
Also I would like to put you on oral dutasteride 0.5 m once daily.
Dutasteride is a newer molecule that inhibits action of testosterone on your hair roots and thus helps in reversing AGA.
Use a gentle cleanser like X- Gain shampoo on regular basis.
Also enquire from your dermatologist about upcoming treatment procedures like platelet-rich plasma.
Hope the information was useful.
Thank you

I do not know what do you mean by clinical picture, where can I request such picture.
Any way I am attaching some pictures here.
Just for your knowledge I never put the minoxidal on the front area which still has good hair.
I did not also put on all the rear area, although the whole back area has become very bad but still some areas are worse were I used the minoxidal.

Yes I have reviewed your other pictures and I would still like to stick to my previous diagnosis of androgenetic alopecia and the same treatment.
Yes definitely hair transplantation is the best treatment for AGA but pretty expensive and if you can afford it then I would surely recommend it to you as the results are good and long lasting.
Hair transplant in XXXXXXX costs between 35-60 Rupees per hair follicle.
