Suggest Treatment For Hand Tremors And Sensitivity To Noises

Question: I am a healthy, athletic, 45 year old woman: 5'7, 135 lbs. I lift weights and run regularly. I played college volleyball and have always been in shape. I have had a hoarse voice for about 2 months, periodic hand tremors, trouble with my memory, some trouble hearing, and a greater sensitivity for noises. I am really worried about the voice issue because it is an obvious change. The trembling hands are pretty often and come without reason. I have chalked them up to needing to eat or something. But that really doesnt add up! The other symptoms are pretty subjective, so they may not be as valid. My throat does not hurt and i dont feel badly, my voice is just gone a lot! I have taken Prozac and Wellbutrin for 3-4 years without changes, so I don't think the medicine is causing it. I haven't seen a doctor about this yet because the symptoms don't seem to be connected....but they may be? Thanks!

Brief Answer:
please get yourself examined once

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through the query carefully and can see that you have developed few new symptoms and are bothering you.

You have recent voice change, increased sound sensitivity, tremors in hands. The change in voice is not related to any pain or other symptom, like eating problem or cough. You are not sure of their relation, but I think that there is a correlation - two symptoms are related to ent (ear nose throat)- and you must get yourself examined.
Recent voice change without pain etc., should be looked into. Had you been a teacher or someone who has to use vocal cords more than normal person then it was ok ..but you are not is such jobs I suppose.
This can also be due to thyroid disorder and so check tsh, t3 & t 4 levels. Thyroid problem can lead to hoarse voice, tremors and other symptom as well.

So, as per my clinical knowledge, you should get yourself examined once.

Wish you good luck.
