Suggest Treatment For Hard Lump Under Skin

Question: hard lump under skin bb size not painful or ichy had it for a month now has not gotten any bigger put light on it and it shows up darker under light instead of lighter can move my finger freely and I may have hit it or pinched it for I do may things moving, gardening etc. I also have some of the soft cysts on my body but this one is hard and round

Thanks for the query

From the description you have given me and also from the photo you have attached it looks like you have a fibroma. Fibromas are a small collection of fibrous tissue

Here are my suggestions

1. Avoid squeezing and pinching it, it causes an inflammatory reaction making it bigger
2. Watch for change in color and also pain
3 Most fibromas and benign and does not require treatment, however if i were to be your doctor I would have excised it and sent the sample for histopathology to look under the microscope.
4. Excision of the fibroma is a small procedure, it can be done on Out patient basis under local anesthetia.
