What Treatment To Take For Lump In Knee?

I have developed pain and a lump just below the knee area on my left leg. The pain is on the outer side back side. I am a 50 year old female. Of note: I have a large non-ossifying fibroma just above the knee on the outer side of the same leg. This new lump is painful all the time. When you touch it the actual lump is numb. I feel nothing when it is touched. What do you think this might be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated. Most probably it will be a harmless lump. If possible get a biopsy done to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
