Question: HI I'm seeing a neurospychologist for cognitive/processing, memory, vertigo, balance, migraine/headaches/ issues. I've had a MRI so far and am waiting back for tests from neurospych test.during the process and other time when I push my brain really hard my brain starts to feel as though its being shaken violently and all my thoughts and memories are being jumbled, and it almost hurts to think. further I get extreme brain fatigue/fog where I can't do the simplest things and I feel nauseous. I'm waiting to hear from his opinion, but was interested in yours. I don't have a lot of time to figure this out, as I'm supposed to leave for college so any input would be wonderful.

Brief Answer:
Not specific condition...

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for writing in.

There are no organic condition that explains all your symptoms. However the headache/ vertigo might be explained by your chronic sinusitis. Some other symptoms may be related to migraine.

Try to find out if there are any trigger factors for migraine; what brings about the migraine: Is it hunger, thirst, lack of sleep, overexertion, stress , direct exposure to sunlight/ hot weather.

Have any blood tests been done? It might be a good idea to get the following tests done: Complete blood picture, FBS, PPBS, TSH, Vitamin D levels (25 OH VitD) , Vitamin B12 levels, serum creatinine, electrolytes, anaemia, Diabetes/ low blood sugar levels, thyroid disorders, Vitamin B12 deficiency, Vitamin D deficiency can present with the symptoms you have.

Do you feel stressed out/ suffer from depression?

At this point, I don't think there is a serious condition to be worried about. Wait until the MRI results. You can discuss about other listed tests with the treating doctor. And if all your tests results come back as normal, I would advise you to sign up for yoga classes after consulting with your physician. Yoga has positive effects on both the mind and the body.

Hope this answer was helpful to you.
