Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitations With Shortness Of Breath

thanks!!
Echo cardiography and TMT test should be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Echo cardiography and TMT test also should be done to rule out any ischaemia and structural problems of heart. Protol am which is combination of calcium channel blocker and betablocker is usually helpful to control palpitations.
If you upload your ECG it will be more helpful in analysing any signs of hypertrophy of ventricles.
How is your lipid profile levels. ?
Do you have anxiety. ?
Doing stress relaxation exercises like breathing exercises is also good. Sit relaxed and take deep breaths. You can do a couple of times daily.
Taking anxiolytics for short term by the advise of your doctor also helps.

A counseling with psychologist also is good.

Yes you should do Echo as well as TMT. If those things are clear then you problem can be most likely from anxiety. In that case a short course anxiolytic drugs and counseling with psychologist will be helpful. Psychologist will train you to get rid off anxiety. Breathing exercises for stress relaxation also will be helpful in such case.

If you continuously getting palpitations better to do it.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
If you continuously getting palpitations then better to do TMT and echo. ECG gives only minimal information about heart. Echo and TMT are recommended by most cardiologist if continuous palpitation is there. These 2 tests are non invasive tests. So nothing wrong in doing it. It will help to rule out cardiac problem as a whole. So if you rule out that then you can go on with treating anxiety.
A consultation with cardiologist is well appreciated to do this test and rule out any cardiac problems.
