Oh thank You ... But is there XXXXXXX treatment for that?
Brief Answer:
Artificial tears and analgesics will help
Detailed Answer:
Hi,Sir
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Eye strain or Asthenopia can due to excessive spasm of the ciliary muscles inside the eye and periocular muscles outside the eye.
Prolonged near vision/near work can lead to this eye strain.
I advice you to get your visual aquity and fundus tested.
Symptomatic treatment can offer excellent control of your symptoms.
Artificial tears like methy cellulose eye drops every 2nd hour can bring prompt relief.
Short course of analgesics like Diclofenac sodium 100 mg SR can dramatically reduce the periorbital pain and headache.
These drugs should be taken only under strict supervision of your doctor.
While at work ,give eye rest for 5min every one hour.
Practice 20-20-20 rule while at work...that is every 20mins look at an object which is 20m away for 20secs.This can reduce the accomodative spasm by relatively resting your eye.
I hope this info is helpful to you,
Thank you
