Suggest Treatment For Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Post Abortion
Question: Had medical termination 6 weeks ago. Still bleeding heavy. Prescribed tranexamic acid 3 days ago but still flooding at least once a day through clothes with clots. Have to spend every day near a loo as no warning
Brief Answer:
Ultrasonography and second opinion
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Got the history.
I would advise you to undergo ultrasonography to see what is the problem in the uterus / whether any retained products / fibroid / vesicular mole or so.
Diagnostic curettage / Hysteroscopy / confirmatory CT scan may be needed and to be done after a consultation with your Gynecologist or you can certainly go for a second opinion of another Gynecologist.
It is already 6 weeks.
