Suggest Treatment For Hematoma In Calf Caused By A Ruptured Baker's Cyst
Question: I developed a XXXXXXX horse during the night that would not go away for hours,I went to the ER for fear of DVT they did ultrasound and Mri told me it was a4x4x7cm hematoma in my calf probably caused by a ruptured bakers cyst. Sent me home with some pain med and to do the RICE treatment. It's 10 days still swollen calf extensive black a blue on leg and ankle painful to walk. What else should I do.

1.Hot water fomentation by keeping your leg in gentle warm water.
2.Compression bandage
3.You should do walk and there is no need to do rest.
4.Blood color changes from violet to blue and then brown. Do not be panic about this.
5.I hope you are not taking any blood thinning medicines like clocip or aspirin, these medicines can make recovery slower.
