Suggest Treatment For Herniated Disc
When I went to the Doctor the PA stated that it is caused by my back problems....herniated discs, arthritis, etc. Numbness in the hip can be caused by this. So I was sent to therapy. Haven't gone yet...but just wondering what you think about that.
Same diagnosis just the twist of words
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and I understand your concern. Basically what you were told by our doctor taverna murati is exactly the same thing your doctor's PA told you. The difference was just of words.
Compression of the nerve roots coming out of ten spinal column are being compressed and the reason for that is disc which is herniated. Obesity etc are the risk factors of such compressive neuropathy. Arthritis is age related and once again a predisposing factor to such nerve compressions.
Nutshell it is a herniated disc and you need conservative management as very well advised by your doctor and a good start is physiotherapy exercises and NSAIDS pain killers along with some muscle relaxants.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
